Akbar is also known as Akbar the Great. He was born in He was the third Mughal Emperor. He became the king at the age of thirteen. Akbar was the greatest ruler of the Mughal Empire. He learnt hunting, running, and fighting in his youth. This made him a powerful, daring and a brave king.
Akbar was mentally very strong. He was absolutely powerful at decision making. Diwan-i-Khas was the place where Akbar had his regular meetings with his senior officers. On the other hand, he dealt with the problems of his subjects, listened to them and would receive petitions by meeting them all in Diwan-i-Aam. Akbar was tolerant towards all religions.
The construction of Ibadat Khana is an example of this where after an initial point, the people of various religions used to come together and discussed religious and spiritual subjects.
